Emily Axelrod is also a founder of, and principal in, The Axelrod Group, Inc., which she created with her husband. For over twenty years, Emily has been a consultant to Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions, government agencies, healthcare organizations, and nonprofits. She uses strategic visioning, work redesign, and team development processes, to help these groups build more productive, energized, dignified enterprises. Her recent clients include Hull House, John Deere, R. R. Donnelley, Reichhold Chemical, Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, University of Denver, and the United Nations Development Fund. In addition to her current consultations, Emily is a faculty and founding member of the Association for Quality and Participation School for Managing. With Southern wit and spirit, Emily is also a highly sought-after speaker. Her presentations focus on employee engagement and whole systems learning, and she has delivered these presentations before a wide variety of organizations, including the American Management Association and the London Strategic Planning Society. Emily co-authored The Conference Model and is a contributing author to The Change Handbook and The Flawless Consulting Field Book. Emily has two master’s degrees: one in education form the University of North Carolina and one in social work from Loyola University. |
