Sam Magill has over twenty years of experience in organization change and individual coaching. As a senior associate of the Axelrod Group, Sam is known for careful attention to the individual relationships and his ability to inspire large groups facing unknown futures. He is described as having a magical ability to infect people with ideas and stick with them in difficult times. Sam’s business philosophy is heavily influenced by his years studying Biology. Sam sees organizations, not as clockwork models, but as living systems capable of growth. He has used this philosophy to effect major change in organizations such as Boeing, Pacific Northwest National Laboratories, MulitiCare Health Systems, and the Episcopal / Anglican Church. He is a member of the leadership team for the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara where he helps certify people in the emerging profession of business / person al coaching. He was dean of the Seattle Washington School for Managing under Peter Block and was the national coordinator for the Fetzer Institute’s Dialog on Relationship Centered Health Care. |
